Our 7-Day Murchison Falls and Kidepo Valley gives you a chance to experience 5 of Ugandas National Parks and introduces you to the traditions and customs of the indigenous amazing and welcoming people. Kidepo being ranked among the best National Parks in Uganda has got a lot to offer in terms of flora and fauna.
Highlight
Day 1: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast you will be picked from the hotel/guest house by our professional driver/tour guide he will brief you about our 7 days safari and head to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the endangered white rhinos at least for an hour. Along the way you will have a stopover in Masindi District for lunch and then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival you will check in a hotel for an overnight as you prepare for the next day’s program.
Day 2: Game Drive And Boat Cruise In Murchison
After breakfast you will embark on a morning game drive and be able to spot some lions (percentage of seeing them like 70%), antelopes, buffalos, elephants, giraffes and many others. After the exciting game drive return to the accommodation for lunch then back for a boat cruise where you will be able to sail through the floating hippos and spot other animals at the river bank like the crocodiles, elephants and numerous bird species. After the boat cruise you will head back to the accommodation for an over night.
Day 3: Transfer To Kidepo National Park
In the morning have breakfast, checkout the hotel and then head off to Kidepo Valley National Park. Along the way we shall have a stop over for lunch then proceed to Kidepo Valley National Park. We shall reach in the evening then check in the hotel and have enough rest in preparation for the busy schedule the following day.
Day 4: Game Grive In Kidepo
After breakfast you will embark on a game drive in the park/ Kidepo Valley National Park is one of the best wilderness places in Africa and a home for most extinct wildlife species that are rare to find in other game parks in Uganda, like the cheetahs. It is also gifted naturally with the most interesting communities in Uganda that have preserve their traditional way of life (the kamajongos, Acholis and other interesting communities). It harbours over 70 mammal species and over 400 bird species that live in open savanna. After the game drive return to the hotel for lunch and rest, then later head back for another game drive in the evening.
Day 5: Game Drive At The North Of The Park
Have breakfast and head off for game viewing along Kidepo River. Kidepo River is a seasonal river along the Kidepo Valley in the Karamoja region. The river traverse Kabong and flows its water in White Nile in to Sudan. You will be able to spot various wildlife species all day and return to the hotel for an over night.
Day 6: Hike Mount Murungore and Community vist
On this 6th day after breakfast, we shall embark on a journey to hike mount Morungole which has a beautiful view of the area and later visit the local community to learn about the way of life of the Karamajong people. They are such amazing people endowed by nature/ later we shall return to the hotel for an over night.
Day 7: Return To Kampala/ Entebbe
Have early breakfast and return to Kampala where you will be dropped at Entebbe airport or to the guest house depending on the arrangements.End of tour

Day 1: Arrival And Travel To Murchison Falls National Park
When you arrive at Entebbe international airport, meet and greet with Travel Time driver guide and set off 6-hour drive north west to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, branch off the main road inNakasongoro district to visit Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino trekking on foot with a ranger. Rhinos became extinct in Uganda in the 1980s and this project is trying to bring them back to the protected area.
Day 2: Game Drive And Boat Cruize
After a cup of tea, you will get out of the lodge early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise rise at the Nile River followed by a game drive until noontime. Murchison falls National Park attracts over 79 mammal species including the big 4: lions, leopards, elephants and buffaloes. You might encounter Nubian giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, bushbuck, waterbucks, buffalo, warthogs, Uganda kobs, oribi and there are over 445 species of birds.
Day 3: Transfer To Kibale Forest National Park
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Kibale forest national park about a 6-7 hour drive. Along the way, make a stopover for lunch in Fort Portal town (Kabalore), the home of Tooro Kingdom led by one of the youngest king Oyo. Proceed to Kibale just 1 hour drive from the town and relax at your lodge the rest of the evening.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking And Bigodi Swamp Walk
After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll head to Kanyanchu to start your chimpanzee trek, there will be a briefing on the dos and don’ts. Guides will accompany visitors into the forest so they can spend an hour up close and personal with the chimpanzees. During the walk through the forest, you might spot other primate species such as the blue monkey, the grey checked mangabay.
Day 5: Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park For Boat Cruise
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national arriving in the afternoon for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The freshwaters attract elephants and buffaloes as well as hippos, crocodiles and a variety of bird species.
Day 6: Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
An early morning game drive will be done in the Kasenyi game tracks in search of lions, leopards and hyenas and breakfast will be served when you return. Thereafter, transfer to Bwindi through Ishasha wilderness, where you might see tree climbing lions while enjoying breathtaking views of the rift valley and Kigezi hills. Arrive and check in your room for a good night rest ahead of gorilla trekking in the morning the following day.
Day 7: Gorilla Tracking And Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi
You will get up early for breakfast and move to the gorilla centre for a briefing. A packed lunch and drinking water is required given that you’re gonna spend 1 to 5 hours in the forest. Visitors will be led into the forest by guides and rangers in search of a habituated gorilla family. Day 1: Pick up, & Travel To Lake Mburo–Equator Crossing For Experiment
Arise early morning for tea or cup of coffee, meet your driver guide he will welcme you and brief you about the pearl of Africa and about the safari. He will let you inside the car and Take your seats in your comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle and start your journey to the western side of Uganda to Lake Mburo National Park.
Day 2: Early Morning Driver Guided Game Drive And Boat Cruise
Following breakfast, a guided game drive in a 4×4 tourist vehicle with pop-up roof/sunroof for your clear game viewing. This will run for 2-3 hours as you catch up with early risers while they become active for the day plus other mammal species. The day animal sightings will include hyenas, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, elands, impalas, leopards, reedbucks, topis and bird species.
Day 3: Bush Walk & Cycling
A guided bush walk begins in the morning after breakfast. You will be led by an experienced guide and this is all about immersing yourself deep into the different habitats of the park as you search for wildlife, flora and birds. Get back for relaxation, lunch at the lodge till late afternoon when you will embark on a cycling excursion to see wildlife on a bicycle including zebras, elands, topis and impalas.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha Sector. The Ishasha is known for hosting incredible wildlife including the tree climbing lions that hang on the fig trees.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi
After breakfast, an early start of the mountain gorilla’s trekking through the forest and up the slopes which requires stamina and patience but the first encounter with these mighty animals will be a truly memorable one. This is done by the lead of experienced guides. After spending some time observing these magnificent creatures, you can have a guided nature walk in the forest or relax at the lodge.
Day 6 Batwa Cultural Encounter
Early in the morning after breakfast you will vist the batwa homes to understand how they live and how their homes look like you will learn their traditions, norms and customs. You will also be entertained in traditional dances and songs. Batwa experience is oner of the most interesting activity in Bwindi national park. As you head to Bwindi national park, you will have to enjoy it.
Day 7: Travel To Queen Elizabeth
After a morning breakfast, retracing your steps through this green and pleasant land. You will travel to Queen Elizabeth national park for the interesting activities such as game drives, launch trips, bird watching, chimpanzee tracking, lion tracking, mongoose tracking, hiking and nature walks & cultural visits. After reaching to queen Elizabeth, you will have an evening game drive as you enjoy watching wildlife hinting food.Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds.Day 9 Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari Ishasha

You will begin with your breakfast very early so that you are ready to be transferred to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking briefing by 6;00. After the briefing, you will be led by a park ranger or a guide to head into the forest for an opportunity to track out the chimpanzees when they are still in their habitats. The purpose of tracking these chimpanzees as early as possible is for you to find them when they are just waking up or still sleeping so that you are able to see as many as possible. Thou chimpanzees are the most sought-after primates, visitors should also look out for other primates such as the black and white colobus, red tailed colobus and the red cheeked mangabey. After this amazing experience with these unique creatures, you will return to your lodge for lunch and rest of the day relaxation.Day 12 Transfer To Kampala.
After having your breakfast from your lodge, you will get ready to start on your journey back to Kampala, proceed to Entebbe airport for your out bound flight and that will mark the end of this amazing 12 days safari.
